Cause and Effect

Ripples and Waves

“Disrupting thoughts (containing the harmful determinative emotions) from a single individual are similar to the pebble in the pond, in relation to the expanse of existence. Even so, by “throwing” the pebble, the disruptive thought creates a breach within the balance of Creation. The individual then experiences direct, though misperceived, interactions from Nature. The thought (cause) enters the “pond” of Creation and the resultant ripples (chaos) provoke the response (effect) from the forces of Nature. A new paradigm is established if a contradictory action (e.g., aggression) evolves from the destructive thought. The new paradigm contains the original thought (ripples) and the aggressive act (waves), or chaos2.”
