“The Human Species has reached the moment where each individual must examine existence outside of her or his diverse conditioning and environmental influences (religion, politics, government, culture, etc). We need a realistic awakening to the fact that these conditioning processes have fragmented Humanity to the extent that we are  in complete opposition to each other and Nature. For the Human Species, there is no good outcome here. We cannot “fix” circumstances or conditions by creating adversarial relationships. Making enemies, in Human—to—Human and Human—to—Nature interactions, will never bring resolution to anything. It is simply delusional to believe otherwise.”

  1. Hi Rob, I always enjoy the “More Discussion” link from your poems 🙂 This excerpt reminds me of a section in She Who Is Unto Herself: “…what is right in one culture or religion is oftentimes considered wrong in another. Social constructs are mind-made (often man-made) concepts. Although society will try to convince us that we are subject to these concepts irrevocably, we are – in point of fact – free to adhere to them or not. It’s important to find your own authentic, inner spiritual source – your intuition – from which you can validate your worth and judge your actions from your individually constructed perspective.” Although I refer in that section to self-validation, you are totally right to draw attention to the way social constructs are used to engender adversarial Human—to—Human and Human—to—Nature interactions, and the need to counter that. Hoping your day is good so far, Sam 🙂

    • Hi Sam,

Thank you for your valued commentary. Ultimately, as you are aware, the concept of true mindfulness becomes paramount in our journey to self-validate and reset our course.

      Hope you are well…. 😉

  2. This is a bit of a simplistic understating to your perspective. But this gets at the burning desire for me travel around the world…I was born raised and have been immersed in the same environment for the last 25 years. I am aware that this bubble I am in significantly conditions and influences me in a very limiting way.

    • Travel does provide immense opportunity to interact. But, do not underestimate our capacity to connect through the flow of energy that binds us all. The sensations that we acquire are far more “educational”.
