Being Human

Abuse

“Spirituality is the progressive revelation of a network that defines the interconnection between the Human Species and all other aspects of Creation. The structure of the system is under threat of immense turmoil. The Human Species abuses itself. Human Beings abuse other lifeforms and both the observed, and not yet seen, natural environments. It is an understated irony that the Human Species is not a victim of any form of abuse except that which is self-inflicted.

The spiritual network is fragmented and requires vigorous intervention. An individual cannot simply disassociate with those who are perceived as the violators of the balance with Creation, and have an expectation the she or he will no longer be influenced by the observed sources of chaos. The force of energy flowing between all Human Beings contains the totality of influences that the Human Species injects into Creation. As such, each individual is a point of convergence for seven billion interactions in every moment. The Singularity, the inconceivable Oneness, of the Human Species cannot be evaded or escaped. The spiritual warrior does not seek to avoid or ignore the opposing influences. The spiritual warrior only examines her or his own resolve and capacity to unite as a part of the collective strength of Humanity, to restore the balance (Peace) within Creation.”

  1. Yup! There’s no running away from the physical, structural and cultural violence being perpetrated by the human race. And for those of us who believe in reincarnation, that’s a concept with humongous ramifications, which requires us to take a good look at the purpose and aims we set ourselves for our lifetime. Which goals really have value (in the bigger picture)? Where is it worth us investing our time and energy (bearing in mind our human responsibility to other humans and all the kingdoms of nature due to our innate “Oneness”)? These kinds of questions should be explored by students in schools, for example 😉 Wishing you a peaceful weekend Rob 🙂 Joyful greetings, Sam 🙂

  2. Thank you Rob! The thread of abuse running through the collective consciousness is an influence I had never really considered in my own healing process, even though my own perception of the turmoil of the whole is quite strong. Over the past few weeks specifically, I have felt the turmoil “in the air” so to speak. Thank you for posting this . . . I love your perspective!
