Being Human

“The Human Being cannot detach herself or himself from the connective energy that ripples through the Human Species. The Human Species does not have the option to disconnect from the mutual responsibility to the Cosmos. Community, in the absolute context, implies that the Human Being is simultaneously the part, and the whole.”

  1. I love when I have time to stop by to read your wonderful blog! I’m sorry I’m not able to spend more time here. Your words are right on point as far as I’m concerned, but then I am only one tiny speck of the vastness called humanity. I love the face painting 😀 I just got a picture of my little grand-daughter with her face painted while she was at a festival with her parents. Your daughter is lovely and your photography awe inspiring. ❤

    • Thank you, Keli…..I just stumble through life like everyone else 😉 Along the way I manage to get a little lucky with the photography. My daughter thanks you, also. She always keeps me humbled.

“Daddy, none of my friends have a dad as old as you.”

“I can still sell you, Hadassah.”

      “Daddy, you can’t sell me.”

      “Why not?”

“Because you love me too much.”

      “You’re a smart girl, Hadassah.”

    • Thank you….

I can thank my daughter for the photo. After Hadassah had her face painted, she took off into the woods and I followed…..watching through the lens.

  2. I always love reading your words. I always feel intelligent when I can take them and find the connection with my own beliefs. And I always do.

A true community has no individuals because we all are the same. Alike in our differences. As long as some remain below the rest, a community in the truest sense of the word can never exist.
