Souls exist as One
An enigmatic complexity
For nescient free agents

Who deny compassion
And disassociate from
Human Consciousness

Their solitariness a scant
Deceit engendered by
Time and space restraints

Love suffers poverty
Amid contentious impulses
Of insular attitudes

Posit a future Truth
When Humanity is not
Its own adversary

An individual cannot detach herself or himself from the connective energy that ripples through the Human Species. The Human Species does not have the option to disconnect from the mutual responsibility to the Cosmos. Community, in the absolute context, implies that the Human Being is simultaneously the part and the whole.

  1. ‘Community, in the absolute context, implies that the Human Being is simultaneously the part and the whole.’ Thankyou! Sometimes it just takes the right phrasing for a concept to just ‘click’. For some people the indoctrination of ‘Thou shalt not have an Ego, can mean that they don’t even take a part. 🙂

  2. This is beautiful and very thought provoking.

It makes me think of a line from a favorite song of mine:
“So crucify the ego, before it’s far too late
To leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical,
And you will come to find that we are all one mind
Capable of all that’s imagined and all conceivable.”

  3. Our connected energies appreciated or not are continually at work.. if we realized our own power and the draw of like energies we would realize all that happens around us is so explicable…

  4. This piece comes together with a powerful message, speaking to the undeniable truth that what humans do to “protect” themselves is their own path to destruction..even for their individual well beings in body and soul. We need each other for survival and for happiness.

This is magnificent, much needed writing. Thank you, Rob….
